'Light up a Life' is a wonderful way to think about your loved ones at Christmas time, whether they are no longer with us or are just a long way away.

'Light up a Life' is a very special event for The Butterfly Hospice and we are delighted to invite you to join us on 6th December at Centenary Methodist Church, Red Lion Street, Boston, PE21 6NY.

The service will start at 5.30pm and includes music, readings and songs to remember and celebrate the special memories of our loved ones.
The service will be slightly different this year, due to Covid-19 regulations, but we still hope that this will be a really special time of remembering those we have lost.
We welcome everyone to dedicate a light in order to remember someone special to you in the comforting and supportive presence of friends, family and members of the Hospice team.

Attendance is by booking only, and all we ask is that you kindly make a minimum donation of £10 to support the ongoing work of The Butterfly Hospice Trust. You are welcome to donate more if you wish.

For your donation you will receive a lantern, a battery tea light, and a dedication card which will be hung on our Christmas tree at the service. The Christmas tree will be returned to the Butterfly Hospice over the festive period.

You can reserve your lantern and dedication card and your place at the event by calling the Fundraising team at the Butterfly Hospice charity office on 01205 311222

Donations can be made by cheque, debit or credit card.

This year we are offering something completely new to those who may be unable to
attend the event, perhaps due to Covid-19 restrictions, or to other commitments.
You can pick up a 'Light Up A Life' dedication pack from one of our stores (from 9th November) by simply making a minimum donation of £10. The pack contains a lantern, a battery tea light, and some poems and prayers, so you can hold your own remembrance event with your family at home.
