We understand the importance of remembering your loved ones.
Here are some of the ways people choose to leave a personal legacy
whilst helping to support the ongoing work of the hospice.
Donating in Memory
Instead of giving flowers at the funeral, many people prefer to ask relatives and friends to make a donation to support the work of The Butterfly Hospice Trust.
This is a lovely way to remember a loved one and an effective way to recognise the care and support they received at the hospice.
We can provide envelopes or collection tins and offer any advice you might need. Your funeral director may be able to handle this on your behalf if you let them know that you would like to support us.
To order your envelopes call us on 01205 311222
Our Memory Tree is a beautiful handcrafted art feature capturing your memories within its branches. The tree is located on our wall in the hospice reception where it can be viewed by patients, staff volunteers and visitors.
By dedicating a leaf, heart or bird on our Memory Tree you will be creating a lasting way to remember someone special while supporting your local hospice.

We would be happy to discuss any queries you may have about supporting the Hospice in this way.
Each year in December, we invite supporters to dedicate a star on special Trees of Life in memory of a loved one. Followed by a lovely service including poems, readings and songs.
The service is free and open to anyone.
