Business Fundraising

Supporting your local hospice doesn’t always mean giving money – there are so many ways your business can make a meaningful impact on the lives of families in our community. Whether you’re a large organisation or a small local business, there are opportunities to suit everyone, and together we can achieve something truly special.

By partnering with The Butterfly Hospice Trust, you’ll not only be helping us make every day the best it can be for
those we care for, but you’ll also strengthen your team, build connections in the community and show your customers that you care.

Ways your business can get involved...

1. Take part in fundraising events

Join one of our annual events and experience the power of community support. From the reflection of a Butterfly Release to the fun of a Casino Night or the challenge of a Bike or Hike, our events bring the community together while raising vital funds. You can even take it a step further and become an event sponsor, showcasing your business' support while making a difference. Visit our Events page to find out more.

2. Organise workplace fundraisers

Why not bring your team together for some fun while supporting a local cause? Check out some examples of ways to get involved below -

  • Bake Sales – Everyone loves cake!

  • Dress-Down Days – Who doesn’t enjoy swapping suits for something more casual?

  • Christmas Jumper Days – Add some festive cheer to your workplace while raising money.

  • Race Nights, BBQs, or Staff Socials – Great for team bonding and raising awareness.

3. Corporate volunteering (ESV)

Make a real difference by giving your team paid time off to volunteer with us. Whether it’s helping at one of our events or supporting behind the scenes, corporate volunteering strengthens team spirit and allows your employees to give back in a meaningful way.

4. Payroll giving

A small monthly donation can go a long way. Imagine swapping one daily coffee for £5 per month – it could fund a cup of tea and a slice of cake at one of our bereavement support meetings. Payroll Giving is an easy way for your staff to make a consistent impact.

5. Match funding

Double the impact of your team or employees efforts by matching the funds they raise through their their own fundraising or workplace initiatives. It’s a simple yet effective way to inspire even more generosity.

6. Donate gifts in kind

Got a service, product, or skill you’d like to donate? Whether it’s professional expertise, office equipment, or something unique to your business, these contributions are invaluable. Simply email us at fundraising@butterflyhospice.org.uk to discuss how you can help.

7. Networking opportunities

Host a breakfast meeting or a networking event to bring together local businesses, all while supporting The Butterfly Hospice Trust. It’s a great way to connect, collaborate and contribute.
