Volunteering

Our charity-run hospice relies on the support and dedication of volunteers to help us provide compassionate end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families. We have several volunteer opportunities available, including retail, warehousing, fundraising, and gardening.

We understand that volunteering is a selfless act that requires a kind and generous heart and we are grateful for the time and effort our volunteers contribute towards making a positive difference.

We welcome people from all walks of life to join us in our mission to to deliver valuable support to those who use our services.

Volunteering with us is a great way to give back and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Our retail volunteers help us to raise funds by assisting in our charity shops, while our warehousing volunteers help us to manage and organize the items donated to us. Our fundraising volunteers help us to raise awareness and support for our hospice by supporting at events and coordinating other activities. Our gardening volunteers help us to maintain our beautiful hospice gardens, which provide a peaceful and serene environment for our patients and their families.

We want your time spent with us to be both enjoyable and inspiring, knowing your effort will make a real and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging events and activities that help us to connect with our community and promote our mission. You will be an important part of the team helping us to spread the word about The Butterfly Hospice Trust.
