Do you have green fingers and want to showcase your skills, or enjoy being outdoors and want to support The Butterfly Hospice Trust? Whatever your reasons maybe, if you enjoy gardening, you’ll find the hospice is located within beautifully landscaped grounds, which require meticulous work to keep them looking their best.

Role Overview
Our hospice gardens offer a calm and tranquil space for patients, families, and visitors, as well as housing our Therapy Village and serving as a place of remembrance. As a Gardening Volunteer, you will help maintain and enhance these beautiful spaces, ensuring they remain peaceful and welcoming for all who visit.
Key Responsibilities:

Pruning, planting, cutting, and trimming to keep the gardens well-maintained.

Tidying and clearing pathways, flower beds, and communal spaces.

Maintaining seasonal plants to ensure a vibrant and attractive environment.

Working alongside other volunteers and the hospice team to develop and improve the gardens.

We welcome anyone with a love for gardening or the outdoors—no experience necessary!
