Introducing Butterfly Lodge, our on-site overnight stay facility. Offering free of charge accomodation to families of guests under the hospice’s care. Providing a comforting space to rest, eat and sleep while remaining close to their loved ones during the most challenging of times.

Located on site at The Butterfly Hospice Trust, Butterfly Lodge is now open and providing free overnight accommodation to support families during the most challenging of times.

The Lodge offers three private en-suite bedrooms, including one room adapted for accessibility, ensuring family members can remain close with comfortable and immediate access to their loved ones. A shared communal area also provides space to eat, rest and take a break.

With on-site parking and access to the hospice grounds and facilities, Butterfly Lodge has been created to reduce stress and enhance comfort for families. Loved ones can stay nearby at any hour, a reassurance that becomes invaluable when time is precious.

This service reflects the Butterfly Hospice Trust’s commitment to removing financial burdens at critical moments, allowing families to focus on what truly matters, being together.

The creation of Butterfly Lodge was deeply influenced by the local community and embodies our ongoing commitment to holistic family support. It stands not only as a place to stay, but as an extension of the compassionate care provided by the hospice, helping to support during the most difficult of times.

Booking Information
Information regarding Butterfly Lodge will be shared with families at the point of admission. Should you need further information, please see below.

Butterfly Lodge is available exclusively to immediate family members or significant persons of hospice guests.

Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two adults per room, with stays limited to five nights, unless agreed otherwise in exceptional circumstances.

Bookings must be made before 3pm, Monday to Friday. To arrange a stay, please contact the Hospice Charity office on 01205 311222
