Butterfly Lodge
Introducing the Butterfly Lodge, our brand new overnight stay accommodation unit. Offering free of charge accomodation to families of guests under the hospice’s care. Providing them a comforting space to rest, eat and sleep while remaining close to their loved ones during the most challenging of times.
Located on site at The Butterfly Hospice Trust, the Butterfly Lodge will offer free overnight accommodation designed to support families during the most challenging of times. Each of the lodge’s three private ensuite bedrooms, including one adapted for accessibility, will ensure that all family members, have comfortable and immediate access to their loved ones. With a shared communal area to eat and take a break.
With on-site parking, access to the Hospice grounds and facilities, the lodge's vision is to reduce stress and enhance comfort for its guests and visitors. Families can stay close to their loved ones at any hour, a convenience that proves invaluable, especially when time is precious. This new service reflects the Butterfly Hospice Trust’s commitment to removing financial burdens for families at critical times, allowing them to focus on what truly matters - being with their loved ones.
The creation of the Butterfly Lodge was deeply influenced by the local community and embodies our on going commitment to providing holistic support to families. It stands not just as a place to stay but as an extension of the compassionate care provided by the hospice, aimed at making difficult times a little easier.
