The Butterfly Hospice Trust Privacy Statement

Here at The Butterfly Hospice Trust we aim to improve the quality of life for our patients facing a lifelimiting illness and support for families by providing choice, care and support in a hospice setting.  

 

You may support our charity in a variety of ways, whether you are a member of our personnel, a volunteer, a professional organisation or an interested member of the community, we want to ensure your relationship with us is positive. In order to do this, we’ve updated our Data Protection Policy.

 

Our Data Protection sets out why and how we collect and use your personal information, with the assurance that your privacy is always protected. It is our aim that you have full understanding as to how we are able to manage, export or delete your data.

We only use your information for the purposes of your submission digitally/in-person and to help us deliver our services, as outlined within our Privacy Policy. We will use your information to provide you with information e.g. campaigns and event promotions, products and services which may be of interest.  

How we collect your data

We collect information that you share with us, as part of your personal profile e.g. through appropriate steps to protect it. application forms, consent forms, booking forms etc.  We treat your data with care and take responsibility for it.

 

When we’ll share your data

Your data will only be shared with a third party for a service we are delivering on your behalf, for example to process a donation or to let an event organiser know who is organising the project. Please note that we do not share data with a third party for marketing purposes and never sell data to any other agency.  

 

Your Rights

We value your relationship with us and hope that you will continue to support The Butterfly Hospice Trust. However, should you wish to withdraw contact with us, please do let us know.
