Meet The Team
Chief Executive Officer
A Boston girl, living in the area all my life and working in senior management for 20+ years. The Butterfly Hospice is a passion, my mantra is that ‘people come first’ – those who use our service, our staff, our community. "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean."
Retail Operations Manager
My career at The Butterfly Hospice started in 2009, I oversee our Retail Division and continue to grow our Retail premises. I have abseiled down the Pilgrim Hospital and completed a 20,000 ft skydive for the hospice. Outside of work I keep sheep and show them at local country shows.
Finance & Business Development Manager
Worked within the accountancy industry for many years, specialising in Cloud technology. Working within the Butterfly Hospice to update processes while focusing on our ‘green’ agenda and our corporate responsibility to the planet. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog Gary and travelling around the world seeing new places and experiencing new cultures.
Having moved to Lincolnshire 5 years ago from Kent, I have been in senior management roles since. After joining the charity I have loved the diversity of the role - ‘We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life’.
Therapy Services Manager
I have lived in the Boston area for 15 years, and have worked for the charity since the beginning of 2020 in a number of roles.
I am a part-time pastor for a local church, and have an advanced diploma in therapeutic counselling, I am also a clinical hypnotherapist and a member of the National Counselling Society.
I was born in Boston with a background in Nursing and the Charity sector. I am passionate about engaging with the local community, to work alongside fundraisers and local businesses to build a strong sustainable income, allowing the work of the hospice to continue. Outside of work I enjoy time with family, walking my dogs and gardening.
Communications and Volunteer Coordinator
Through my 6 plus years of experience in Marketing and Communications, I will continue to expand and develop the charity's digital presence alongside increasing volunteer recruitment. Outside of work I enjoy getting into a good TV series and playing video games.
I started working at the Butterfly Hospice in January 2022 after completing the Prince’s Trust Programme and then joining the Kickstart Scheme, I am proud to be a member of this amazing team. Outside of work I enjoy playing video games and watching movies
Site Services and Support Technician
I have worked in and around the construction industry for more years than I care to remember. Gaining an insight into most trades including Brickwork and Carpentry and Joinery as well as being City and Guilds trained. My hobbies include motorcycles and antiques. (I also enjoy destroying stuff and putting it back together again)
