Butterflies have now sold out for our annual Butterfly Release. Please note, there will be none available to purchase on the day.

Join us for our Annual Butterfly Release, a renowned and cherished event where we come together to honour loved ones, celebrate life and look to the future with hope as we each release butterflies into the Hospice gardens.

Set in the tranquil hospice grounds, the afternoon includes tea, cake, music and poetry before we release beautiful butterflies, each a symbol of a loved one or a wish sent out into the world. During the ‘Names of Remembrance’ section of the event we will read aloud the names of those we are remembering, creating a shared moment of connection, shortly before we release the butterflies.

Whether you’ve attended before or are joining us for the first time, we invite you to take part in this special day of reflection, support, and remembrance amongst the local community.
