Butterfly Release 2026

Join us for our Annual Butterfly Release, a cherished event in our annual calendar where our community comes together to honour loved ones, celebrate their lives and look to the future with hope.

Set within the beautiful hospice gardens, the afternoon includes tea, cake, music and poetry before we release beautiful butterflies together. Each butterfly represents a loved one remembered or a wish sent out into the world.

During our ‘Names of Remembrance’ section, we will read aloud the names of those being honoured, creating a shared and meaningful moment before the butterflies are released.

Whether you have attended before or are joining us for the first time, we warmly invite you to take part in this special day of reflection and remembrance.

Please ensure when booking multiple tickets you provide the name for each individual guest who will be attending the event.
