Ceilidh 2027

Join us for an evening of music, dancing and community as our popular Ceilidh Night returns for 2027, all in support of The Butterfly Hospice Trust!

Taking place at Old Leake Community Centre on Saturday 20th February, this traditional ceilidh promises a fun filled night out. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer, everyone is welcome and no previous dance experience is needed!

What is a Ceilidh?

A ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a traditional social gathering filled with live folk music and lively group dancing. With a mix of reels, jigs and traditional dances, it's all about bringing people together, having a go and enjoying the atmosphere.

The fantastic Rake Up Band will be providing the live music, accompanied by their experienced ceilidh caller who will guide everyone through the dances step by step. There's no need to know the moves beforehand, simply follow along and enjoy yourself!

Alongside the music and dancing, guests can enjoy a licensed bar, a raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs and the return of our popular Stand-Up Bingo, with even more chances to win!

You're also welcome to bring your own food, gather your friends and family and make a real evening of it.

Whether you're ready to dance the night away, enjoy an evening out with friends or simply sit back and soak up the atmosphere, our Ceilidh Night offers something for everyone.

Gather your friends, bring your dancing shoes and join us for an unforgettable evening.

All proceeds will support The Butterfly Hospice Trust, helping us continue providing hospice care and support to people and families in our community.
